Today in History

Historical Calendar is a Today in History app that will show you various history fun facts about every day. That includes various info, events, births, deaths, and more.

FEATURES

 Multiple historical events. The app uses only the most up-to-date history facts from Wikipedia, available under CC BY-SA 3.0 license.
Multi-language content. Choose from more than 50 languages, the events will reflect the selected culture.
Filter. Events can be filtered based on historical periods.
Search. Search entire history, works great with offline mode enabled.
Agenda. Save your favorite events or create your own in the Agenda.
Widget. Have a quick view on the historical facts of the day by using the widget on the homescreen.
Notifications. Get useful notifications about topics you are interested in.
Offline mode. Enjoy the app without internet access, enable the offline mode in the Settings.

Great! Just two things could be improved, please. (1) The ‘years’ filter should be allowed to be set for all future sessions, and not for one only. (2) And, this should also automatically apply to the widget (at least there should be such an option). Thanks a lot!

Informative. Few ads and non-disruptive. Easy to get information

Whomever made this app. Your amazing

I use this App every day. Very interesting. I bought the license to remove the ads, but somehow, my license disappeared, and the ads came back! And every time I try to restore my license or buy another, nothing happens. Frustrating… Amendment: Alex responded right away via email regarding my issue. After several suggestions, we both agreed the issue was with my phone (I had recently updated the OS with an android Update). As it turns out, the problem stems from Google Play Store/Games not recognizing my previous purchase. Alex was very responsive and willing to help. Thanks again Alex!

Really good if you want to learn more History. You get acquainted to lots of historical events. The problem is that it is extremely Eurocentric. If it were to include events of a global nature, it would be a perfect app.

Best app ever to know the unknown, see the unseen, lots of historical facts. I can’t describe in my words how much awesome this application is. Just use it first.

Firstly i thought that this app isn’t good for me for my country’s knowledge. After that I’ve seen a option on language. I set it to Hindi. After that this is the best app for me
