How do we make 3 hour forecasts?
Opticast® uses real time observations and up to 10 global weather prediction models that are intelligently combined to build the most accurate high resolution short term forecasts available to the Australian public.

How do we provide more forecasts than the others?
We source data from the Bureau of Meteorology and then fill the gaps with our own team of professional meteorologists and in-house high resolution forecasting models.

Best weather app I’ve had the chance to use ever. The long term forecast isn’t always fully accurate but the daily, and short term tends to be spot on. Well done! Good job!

Brilliant! Info is up to date and as accurate as the Bureau of Met itself. Love the rain n temp chart as it helps plan our day. Always opens properly etc and no tech problems so far and both hubby n I have been using for over a year. Great job.

Works well This app id recmmend. It makes no promises but is easy to use and pretty accurate
