[App] Chargie – the only hardware battery life saver
Charging your phone every night to 100% and keeping the battery like this for 8 hours is one of the main culprits behind early battery failure. We’re here to change that.
Chargie is an app+hardware phone charge limiting solution that makes your battery last for much longer than if you had charged it regularly to 100% all night, every night.
Here’s how it works:
1. For the app to work, you need to get your Chargie USB device from chargie.org.
2. Insert the device into your regular charger and the phone cable into Chargie.
3. Install the app on your phone.
4. Set the charge percentage you need for the next day.
5. Go to sleep.
Chargie takes control of the power flow following an algorithm that decreases battery temperature and voltage related stress, throughout the 8 hours of nighttime charging.
This will dramatically increase battery and phone lifespan because of the way lithium ion chemistry works.
With Chargie, your phone not only lasts for more years, but has also a much lower carbon footprint. Present-day smartphones are still a good fit even after three years, if their performance is not throttled by the OS because of poor battery health.
Moreover, you’ll be able to resell your old phone for more when you decide to change it, because it will be Chargie Certified, and this will be a guarantee of the protection of its battery.
We have DHL shipping available, so you can get your Chargie tomorrow if you live in NY or anywhere in the EU. If not, shipping takes 3 days at most, in any part of the world, so you can be up and running in no time.
IMPORTANT: Chargie needs Location Access to scan for its devices – we DO NOT use your actual location. It is needed for Bluetooth Low Energy scanning to work, as per Google’s requirements. Chargie does not need internet access.
Chargie user reviews :
Great idea and works coupled to the wireless charging stand I use at my bedside, limiting overnight charging to 85% on my S20. NB this is an app that supports their device you purchase. I’m unsure on its impact to battery during the day though. The notification icon goes on/off/on/off continually and aside from being distracting, I wonder if it’s draining the battery. I ended up disabling notifications for the Chargie Service Channel. Otherwise a great idea I’d recommend if that is ironed out.
Best dongle and software to assure proper battery care. My previous S7 had only 45% of the original capability left after 3.5 years. I hope that I will be able to enjoy my current phone longer with the help of Chargie. Also it supports a small business entrepreneur other than bug tech giants.

- Thank you for the nice review. We’ve had a few issues with delays due to one of our suppliers and due to high demand. But this will be solved in the next production batch and hopefuly nobody has to wait a lot again to get their new Chargie A.

- In version 220.127.116.11 you can change the x axis of the chart in Hardware Limiter to Time, and observe how other devices charge then decide on their cutoff power level. You need a Chargie A.
It’s easy to set up and use, and does what it’s supposed to. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to people wanting to keep their phone battery as long as possible. To Mr. Sandru: mulțumesc.
Chargie extends battery life two times, probably more. It does this when used in conjunction with low cost, compact, companion hardware. Set-up is a breeze and it’s simple to use. Just charge your phone with it. When the LED turns off, it’s done. Battery charge is limited to less than 100%. Device physics shows that limiting charge to ~80% dramatically increases battery life. Update: Chargie continues to work like a champ, not one hiccup since purchase. I recommend it. Gary Highberger MSEE
