Doctrinal Mastery – Provide a powerful source of inspiration

[App] Doctrinal Mastery

Doctrinal Mastery  The Doctrinal Mastery app helps members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints study and learn the 100 seminary doctrinal mastery passages, the Articles of Faith, and other content imported using the sharing feature within the Gospel Library app.

The learning activities include memorizing, reviewing flashcards, and taking a quiz. Memorizing scriptures can provide a powerful source of inspiration in times of need.

My kids and have been using this!! Its so simple and amazing!!

Doctrinal Mastery is a great app to use. However I want to suggest a couple things that could improve. In the section for “my scriptures” I have a lot of verses. My list is too long to scroll through them. Perhaps the “my scriptures” section could allow you to create sub sections and add verses within those subsections. That way you could add more verses without getting a major long list. And with the subsections you could group them into topics.

I love this app. The only thing I’d like more is if “My Content” would be easier to add somehow (for example you can’t highlight and add 2 verses that are not in order consecutively, such as verse 22 and 25) and if you could rearrange or even organize scriptures after you have added them to “My Content”. But maybe this is the wrong app for what I have in mind and I should just stick to linking and adding notes to scriptures on Gospel Library. But it’d be nice to have a bit of both for memorizing

Great app! I used it to gain a better memory. I would love to have the random quizzes back as that was the core of my study for a long time. I thought I was only using this app to get the references so I could teach better during my mission, but it actually improved my mental health because I stopped forgetting names and people.

This will make me better able to memorize my scripture verses.

Best feature: you can share passages from the Gospel Library app to choose your own verses to memorize. Feature asks: be able to sign in so I can sync my content across devices.

I like it. Lots of ways to learn the scriptures oh, and assess your own ability to do that.

The flashcards would be more useful if they gave the verse and asked the user to supply the reference. Can you make it so the user can choose?

The best available personal companion to studying t he scriptures ( aside from the Holy Ghost, of course).

Great fun learning scriptures!

So great for semenary all the diffrent topics and quizes are good for studies.

Very good for studying scripture.

Great it helps me do familliarize scripture verses

It is a very good app, helps me alot!

Go explore Utah more books are Harry Potter twilight books and walks Maxwell books are there Craigslist treybrooke on that

I like the features of the Memorize section that allow me to remove words on a sliding scale to help me memorize. I really like that I can add my own scriptures to study. I would love it even more if there was a way to delete scriptures I add by mistake or no longer wish to study. My Scriptures is a little cluttered at the moment because of some things I added by mistake.

I would love it if we could combine multiple books so that we could quiz on 50, 75 and eventually 100! (Having them all mixed up together for extra challenge.) This would help me keep up with all the ones I have learned in previous years. Thanks!

Says in Portuguese but missing functionality. One the memorize (which in itself is English) works. The quiz shows no text. The flashcards ask in English if you got it right. I wanted to use this in Brazil to help the 8+ learn the articles of faith but the way it is now it is pretty much useless at least in Portuguese

I like how helpful it is to memorize scriptures, but I’d like the developers to add a shuffle mode to make it even more challenging. I would also suggest to add a way to set up a scripture to display on the screen as remainder everyday or every now and then, so only by looking at the cellphone one reads it often without even opening the app.

It’s a great app to memorize scriptures. But, what would be even better, is if you made it so that you could play against your friends. Take one of the scriptures and you have to fill in the words, you get points, and most points wins. This way teens can challenge each other to memorize scripture and they’re always motivated more when it’s a game.

I love that I can work on my doctrinal mastery anywhere I go! I’ve always struggled with remembering the verses and where to find them but after a few minutes every day I’ve gotten so much better!
