I am impressed! Best gallery app. I alway take pic of my imp. receipts but when i need it was hard to find but now i can easily find as document are automatically sorted. But only i problem i find is that some people faces changes over time little bit and it recognises as different person. Like in photos app we can merge them but there is no option to merge in this gallery app.

What I’d really like to see is Google implement a photo map showing where I took my pics using Google Photos as well as photos in my internal memory. We used to have this functionality long before Apple ‘invented’ it, WHAT HAPPENED? Aside from missing what would be a really cool feature (photo map), this app is pretty vanilla and blah. Simple features like ‘Sort by’ and pinch zoom to change thumbnail views that have been a staple in Samsung gallery for years aren’t even a thought here.

Pretty good Gallery app with no online sync features. Two things need improvement: 1) why can we not drag to select multiple photos? That’s a standard feature in ever gallery app and even in Google’s own “Photos” app. There’s no reason not to include it. 2) the gray background should be black. I get it’s Google’s aesthetic to use gray instead of black in dark modes (which looks terrible) but very rid of the stupid rules for once. This is a photo gallery. Photos must stand out.

Great user friendly app , really like the group similar faces and can set typing ,, ( typed words in white and the background is black , Google news app does that also , but otherwise the normal typed words in black and with white background ,, ,, I feel like I am stairing at a flash light ,, gallery go is a great photo and video gallery ( but you should also get Google news app by far covers way more topics and on any news event it has more news articles on that news event than other news apps

Nice simple gallery app and it’s clean. My only complaint is that when I go to my camera album when zooming in the picture it’s unresponsive and laggy as hell, while, when it comes to other albums it’s perfectly fine and no problem.

The gallery is awesome, can’t explain how useful it has been to me. My humble suggestion: To make the gallery more extra ordinary I think a recycle bin need to be added to recover an unintentional deleted photo or video.
