In its simplest form, Mei is simply an upgrade to the default or stock SMS/MMS texting app that comes pre-packaged in most phones by the manufacturer or telephone carrier. With Mei, users can text with almost any other smartphone user in the world.
Intelligence on Personality: Improving your relationships start with better understanding yourself. If you turn on the AI assistant, you’ll be able to see a full personality profile showing you how you appear to engage with the world. Unlike most personality tools, which ask question after question, we don’t need any input from you – Mei analyzes the text messages already on your phone. You can also see the personalities of the people you text with and see how similar you text.

End-To-End Encryption: When texting with other Mei users, we use end-to-end encryption
Free International Messaging: Since our messages can be transmitted through the internet as data messages, our users can communicate with each other overseas for free
Unsending Messages: Unsend messages at any time, whether or not the person has read it
Expiring Messages: Messages expire after a pre-set amount of time after the message has been read
Exploding Messages: Instead of starting the timer after the message has been read, it starts after you send the message

I like the utility of personality analytics and honestly I think you should go further in depth about how we are similar and what problems may arise and possible solutions to those. I would’ve gave it five stars if that’s what it was like but it was hardly used at all in my opinion but this is a great app and I will continue to use it as my primary messenger. The look and feel is great it makes me feel powered.
Great concept and reasonably accurate. It gives realistic advice and is generally quite helpful. There is a quite annoying problem I have found though which is that when editing someone’s personality you have to make a change before you can move on to the next page. I often only see one or two traits that are messed up. It would be awesome if this was fixed. It would be extremely helpful if it could also “scan” third party texting apps. I do most of my texting on WhatsApp, and Google Hangouts because I generally don’t have signal. So for many of my contacts I only have a few texts because I talk to them on other apps. This would be a great feature to add in the future.

I really enjoy it it’s easy to use and easy to understand. The only thing I have with it is when my sister calls me she text before letting me know, then calls me. but it keeps telling me that I need to respond back and reminding me of something I have already taken care of other then that very useful.(and not able to tell the ai that I have already talked to her)
