Moto Camera 2

The Moto Camera 2 app is optimized for Moto devices and integrated with Google Photos.

Features:

Never miss a moment with Quick Capture: launch the camera with a simple twist of your wrist, then twist again to switch cameras.
Moto’s smart cameras automatically adjust for light and motion for crystal clear results.
Fully integrated with Google Photos. Simply swipe left for sharing, editing, and backup.
Get the perfect moment with Best Shot: The camera takes multiple shots before and after you capture, recognizing issues like blurred subjects or blinking eyes. It then recommends the best picture to keep. Look for the Best Shot icon in your Google Photos gallery.
Portrait mode for dual cameras to apply a blur to the background.
Cutout mode for dual cameras to cut out the foreground subject and add a background image of your own.
360° Panorama and Group selfie modes to capture more of your shot than ever before.
Automatic QR code and barcode scanning puts information at your fingertips: simply position camera over the QR or barcode and select search, save, or copy.

Rich features give you even more control:

Photo, video, and slow motion video.
Tap to change focus and exposure.
Manual (professional) mode: puts you in complete control of focus, white balance, shutter speed, ISO, and exposure.
Common controls like flash, HDR and timer are at your fingertips.
Comprehensive settings give you control of photo and video sizes, change to tap anywhere to capture, and much more.

Moto Camera 2 user reviews :

Update: The app has gotten much better with improved manual mode, live histogram (amazing! who even does that!), and faster focus aquisition. Review: Camera does not focus in video mode. Fine in photo, but goes out of focus the instance you switch to video. I would like to go back to the exposure compensation that was around the focusing marker. Was so quick and easy.

stops too quickly. Within a few seconds of turning the camera on, a screen appears telling me that the app has stopped and gives me a chouce of choosing either stop the camera or send feedback. When I just tried to use the camera to get the wording correct in what I am telling you, it did not stop working and show that screen.

  • Hi Susan, does your camera work properly in any other app?
As you have mentioned, there is expanded support for Google assistant commands. I tried ‘Take a photo’ and it worked well. But as soon as I told assistant to ‘take a selfie’ it turned on rear camera and took a shot! If you are implementing a feature, then please do it correctly. Hope you’ll correct this bug in next update.
