Ruthless Launcher user reviews :

Yes, I mean the recent items screen. I don’t know if it is provided by the ROM itself but you can still mitigate this effect with the launcher. The Pixel one, for example, applies a greyish/bluish tint over the whole background which make this ugly gradient disappear. The gradient is only visible on the home screen with the Pixel launcher. See for yourself if you can, to understand what I mean. Edit: just did, by mail, as requested. :)

  • Multitasking panel, do you mean recents menu? If yes, then it is provided by ROM itself I can’t modify it. Edit: if possible please send me screen shot of the same either through mail or telegram.
Top notch lightweight launcher. Fits my needs perfectly. Better than the competition. I agree with another user who suggested ability to change the default shape of the icons. Instead of circular ones, i just want the “native” shape ad this helps to guide the eyes more easily to the target when the icons have their unique shapes…
  • Shubbyy
  • There is one option named ‘Shapes’ by that you can change shape of icons and search bar. If you want to use shape which you os has, just choose default as shapes.
Great. Problems: I think the hidden apps shouldn’t be a global thing (maybe let the user select where to hide it (hotseat, drawer, homescreen)) and please implement some sort of app sorting in all apps, like tabs – I can’t keep scrolling through one giant menu! The colour names are cool, but a little difficult to know which is which for a new user. Maybe you could highlight or make the font coloured. Can you open a discord server or something, the word limit is killing me!
  • Shubbyy
  • I do use telegram for that matter, discord.. I’ll think about that.

Very good app, it has almost everything you’ll ever need in a launcher, although I feel in the future some new features can be added such as editing a folder with your own icon. Also some extra icons wich are on the icon pack don’t show when changing the icon of an app.

No words to describe it. It’s an awesome launcher clearly , and on that it’s free. Basicly I tried most of the launcher but this is like wow? I love stock Android an this is ditto of stock Android . Anyone who is searching for launcher that gives you a stock Android loock and feel, I suggest to you download this one. HATS OFF TO YOU GUYS !

Solid, no-nonsense launcher that does basically everything I need it to do. Responsive, smooth and provides a clean experience. I appreciate the Pixel aesthetic combined with enhanced customization. UPDATE: I cannot edit app names and folder customization is still not a feature.

  • New update just fixed app naming issue.
I love this launcher but when using it on my pixel 3 (android r) the animation speed to open the recent/opened apps system menu is sooo slowww and it really affects the speed at which I switch applications. Edit: I’ve already got the swipe up and hold gesture enabled in the launcher settings and it doesn’t make a difference.
  • Shubbyy
  • You can try swipe + hold to recent. In home screen go to Enable swipe up + hold to recent. Then provide accessibility permission to launcher from your system settings. Swipe up and hold from search bar or above area and it will work just fine.
