Great content, terrible app. It is constantly crashing and throwing error codes left and right, but no actual solution is found when checking them online. Restarting the phone or reinstalling the app does not work every time, but even if it did it would not be an acceptable solution. Please do something about this, of all the streaming apps, this is the only one with these kinds of consistent issues. The same is true for the app on the smart TV.
The app does an ok job when it actually works. For whatever reason, I have to uninstall and reinstall it daily (after a phone restart), because when I try to load anything after a prolonged period (a day) of not using it, it stays stuck at the white and blue loading circle when trying to watch any show or movie. I am hoping for a fix.
The app works great on the phone and on most TVs (on some models the lag is tremendous though). Since I don’t know where else to write this, I’m gonna do it here. I have noticed that when I’m using a Samsung TV (Tizen) and watching an episode of a series, the minute I press “back” on the remote, it takes me all the way to the home screen. It would make much more sense to be redirected to the series’ page and see all other episodes. This would be a great improvement from my point of view.
This app used to work fine, I never had an issue with using it on my phone. Whatever they did with this recent up, the app no longer goes beyond the loading screen. With all the complaints of people having the same issue, you would think they would have done something by now to correct it. It works perfectly on the TV and tablet which is the only reason I haven’t cancelled it yet.
This has to be, by far, the most unintuitive, buggy and low quality app for streaming that exists right now. No playback options, no way to remove things from the “continue watching list”, constantly crashing and telling me its not responding. No quality adjustment for streaming. I should have an option for 480p/720/1080p/1440p/4k. Audio quality is also horrendous on Chromebooks. Cartoons seem to be loud enough but live action shows and movies are barely audible at max volume.
It’s a great app with great selection, like all the Marvel movies and all the Star Wars movies and a lot of series like Prison Break! You also pay for four accounts at once, which is well worth it for the price. (About 12 Dollars I think). The only negative is that it doesn’t save the progress of a movie or series offline. So you never know at which minute you stopped. It would be nice if this problem was safed.
