Firefox Focus user reviews :

Very good browser for privacy surprisingly well at least visually it’s 100% effective as it is now, no bugs/glitches from what I found & while it does not support multiple tabs from UI just open link in new tab it doesn’t really bother me. :) I still keep it as a secondary browser but it’s also really nice to use when you wanna use something clean and simple for privacy

I loved it until this update. Now you made it unusable. When firefox Focus opens webpage notification area home and back buttons are removed! You can’t even exit the app. Can’t use this at all. Have to change my default app. Might have found the fix. Hit the trash to close web page. Look at the bottom of the app screen where it advertises new features swipe through each feature. Fixed for me after doing that. Two stars because of this for now. Yes I mind. Said all there is to say in email.

My phone has really low storage space, so in 2017 Firefox Focus became my go-to mobile browser, as it was incredibly lightweight at around 10 mb. After ~a year it went up to 40 mb. The updates were noticeable improvements so I wasn’t too bothered. But after recent updates it’s over 100 mb. There are better mobile browsers that take up far less space. Still love Mozilla but any grievances I had with Focus were mitigated by how lightweight it was. Now there’s really no point in having it.

Does what I chose it for… In and out without a trace, swiftly. I use FFF for 90% of my smartphone browsing. FFF menu item ‘Open in’ makes it easy to open in Brave if needed. (Brave replaced Chrome as browser #2 7% of the time)

Well designed. Minimal UI. Works nice as a light weight default browser for quick searching and browsing articles. I can delete my browser history with on slide of my finger if I leave it running. The trash can for closing a the current page is well placed. In addition to viewing which sites attempt to riddle my device with tracking scripts in real time, when switching between apps, the Focus browser is not viewable(goes dark), nice for privacy when social engineering comes into play. I do a lot of quick researching on the fly, this is perfect for browsing and hitting sites on the go.

Great for exactly what it’s built for, fast, secure, private and lightweight browsing. Needs some work on general optimizing of full screen media. Large photos shouldn’t spill over viewable resolution without first zooming in. Also, many embedded video players seem to be broke on the fullscreen buttons; video plays but cannot go fullscreen.

This is the best browser to set as your default, hands down. Super fast and lightweight. Doesn’t remember history. Blocks ads (where malware often comes from). If I were to have a friend borrow my phone, I would much prefer they use this, over my secondary browser. That’s why this makes the best default browser.

So happy there is a browser on my mobile phone that puts the users and their privacy first. Managing add trackers, web fonts, social trackers and more easily is something I always wanted in my browser. Focus uses a modified list of trackers to block from DisconnectMe which is a pretty cool feature. Love the stealth mode as well. Overall a must try app if you want your privacy respected.
