Muzei is a live wallpaper that gently refreshes your home screen each day with famous works of art.

It also recedes into the background, blurring and dimming artwork to keep your icons and widgets in the spotlight.

Simply double touch the wallpaper or open the Muze i app to enjoy and explore the artwork in its full glory.

Alternatively, you can choose your favorite photos from your own gallery or other apps to use on your home screen.

To keep your wallpaper fresh, Muze i will rotate through your favorite photos every few hours.

Finally, Muze i is developer-friendly. All the code is available at https://code.muzei.co and Muze i even offers a simple API that allows you to build your own wallpaper source. For API details, visit https://api.muzei.co.

Muze i now includes a watch face for Android Wear, so you can see your latest wallpaper right on your wrist!

Made in New York by Roman Nurik. Muzei is a transliteration of the Russian word музей, which means museum.

One (and probably the best) of the most beautiful wallpaper apps from android. I try a lot and are always the same. this one totally shocks since the beggining. Super beatiful and extremely simple!! Deviantart extension the best!! Request: wish we could zoom.. Specially the paintings.

My favourite app for wallpapers. Had it since more than a year now. But lately after the last update it won’t load any pics and lags seriously a lot :/ it changes and loads the pics only on my smartwatch. which is pretty frustrating. *I use as source 500firepaper

I like it, I think it’s the best all for customizing the desktop. It’s simple, beautiful and effective. But I have a problem, the app can’t change the wallpaper in the interval. Please fix this. And after update in doesn’t apply any effects on the picture

If you’re having issues with blurring/dimming settings, please try restarting your device – we’ve received some reports of the settings not being respected immediately after the upgrade to Muzei2.3

I’ve been looking for an app such as this for a long time. Great app to. For five stars I would like to see 1) possibility to center other spots in images and 2) possibility to select a folder, 3) easier scrolling of folders (can’t fast scroll through thousands of images on a SGS7). Edit: well, then you get 4,33 stars ;-)

Thanks for your feedback. The ability to select folders has been added in Muzei2.3
