Pioneer’s Sound Tune app is a great way to bring the sound of high-end audio to a basic factory car stereo and speaker set.

All operations are performed easily through a smartphone and a wide range of settings are accessible.

For USB connections

This function is compatible with a phone that runs Android 5.0 up to 7.1.2 and also supports AOA (Android Open Accessory) 2.0, but the compatibility depends on the smartphone.
Some Android devices connected via AOA 2.0 may not work properly or emit sounds due to their own software design, regardless of the OS version.

By far one of the best audio enhancing applications if not the best the results are phenomenal, the only down side is that at times the application closes on its own and it doesn’t appear on the lock screen and notification bar for an easy change of song like other music players. There isn’t a search option to quickly look for the song you want to play and creating a playlist seems more complicated than necessary if these are fixed no doubt this will my music player of choice

The best reverb effect. But only one thing is disapointing, there is not song information when connecting car audio via bluetooth. Help me someone

Please add playlist making system and make it opratable by headphones

I have not had the chance to operate it because I need amplifier for it to work I have a amplifier I need to install it. But for now I am going install it because I can’t turn it off.

Satisfied finally, used a lot of other apps that just crash and never offers what I need. This app gives me more than what I ask for… Please don’t break it with a stupid update. For some reason it cannot find some media, and because I can’t rescan I have to uninstall then reinstall… Or am I missing something? Also playlist don’t work and would like a lock screen mini control

Provide more updates. Allow to play on notification bar.

great app none the less! does as promised however, Not all my songs are available on the app only some. It would be very convenient if all songs were compatable on the app. Not sure why that isnt the case. Plus there is no search for music option I have to manually find songs which is inconvenient. So for that I give you guys 3 stars. Its a great app, but it can be better.

I was very excited to use this product before installation. Got it installed by a highly skilled person. After installation, my excitement turned into sadness. Reason, as usual, many people are complaining, they are not able to connect their smartphone with this product. And every time, it’s being informed by pioneer that you should have an OTG adapter & USB cable (Both should be type a male to male) to connect this device. Dear Pioneer, We must find a way to solve this problem in future releases. It’s just a suggestion and we all know about the quality of pioneer’s products. Cheers!

Sorry for the inconvenience. Some smartphones may not support AOA connection. AOA connection is equipped with Android OS 5.0 or later up to 7.1.2, and is compatible with smartphones that support AOA2.0. Use OTG connection when connecting a smartphone other than the above. Check the SoundTune support page for details.

Please add USB digital audio instead of AOA. There aren’t any phone with android 8 now. Because AOA was stopped on Android 8 and they are using USB digital audio. Fix this also please.

So far I’ve been having fun with the fx feature “concert simulation”, everything you’re listening to is turned into a “live concert”, you can choose ‘concert hall sound’, ‘outdoor sound’, ‘club sound’ & a few more to pick from. Not to mention a savable EQ setting, so now all of you music you’re used to, sounds revamped or just live if wanted, there’s more features involving connection to your car’s audio system which I haven’t tried yet, check it out, have fun friends!

i think it’s a good app. very good at keeping it interesting without adding complicated features. done right. if you want to play your music, and try an eq thats a little different, try it out.. if your journeys purpose tonight was to download a good music player, go ahead and take a break…reward yourself, young squire… you’ve done well. NOW GO!!! FLY FAST INTO THE CLOUDS OF MUSICAL PARADISE AND TAKE SOme headphones with you, they might come in handy. and be safe. and comb your hair. ok bye.
