Was a great a video editor the past few years and then suddenly with one of the recent updates, it stopped being usable with Samsung Dex. I can’t work the timeline anymore which makes it practically impossible to use the way I’m used to. The touchscreen still works in regular mode but I like being able to plug my device to my PC and being able to edit videos rapidly, which now I can no longer do. Not to mention certain free features being behind a paywall now. Nice while it lasted.

Trying on newer device, using Samsung Dex dongle and keyboard, mouse, screen,… Not able to scroll/slide timeline in edit screen, only in fullscreen, making this a right pain to find the right points for cuts. Otherwise appears to be straight foward and fairly easy to use. Like most of these apps, needs a buy-once permanant license edition instead of being subscription only and heading for the uninstall option.

It was good until recently, I now can not speed up videos with out it glitching out, every single time I add more than one media folder half of them just go black and I have to continually delete the media and re upload, sometimes I have to make my video upwards of 10 times just to be able to use more than one media folder in one video, seriously considering asking for a refund, I paid a whole year up front and haven’t been able to use it properly for like 4 months of that!!!

Ok This is sick when it works, when it doesn’t, straight trash. Spend time editing a video then you download it and there are portions missing, clarity is whack, sound doesn’t “splice” correctly. It is frustrating. I’ve downloaded other apps now and use them more. I’d even pay to ensure high quality edits to download. Big disappointment Well I tried downloading and rebooting and same issue so I’m editing my review. Sorry Splice team imma head out.

Love this app but I get issues where the audio will go out of sync in the editor. I also don’t really like how the video will often snap to always be at the start.

Splice is an AMAZING editing app! I would give it 5 stars if the “free trial” wasn’t so expensive! First of all, I cant send my edits to anyone, I have to pay to send my friends MY edits.Second of all, its not free, Im not saying I dont like this app ITS GREAT but please if its free, make it free.third of all, you can only make 2 edits and then you need to pay to make and save them, I am so disappointed as I really like this app. Please fix it! Have a great day (And please fix if you can)
