Sure it’s better than your other options, but you’re paying for it. I’ve had it for over a year now and my price has gone up 30% ($72 now). Also they added that stupid jingle every time you open the app now. I wouldn’t mind it if there was a way of turning it off since it is extremely loud if I turn on the TV in the morning. Also for paying over $70 a month why in God’s name do I get commercials on YouTube still? Just dumb… And you still can’t customize your home screen? I mean come on….

Absolutely love YouTubeTV! The only issues I have with it are 1 guide feature and 4K content. On most other services you look about 2 weeks ahead to record something / see whats on . Its less than 24 hours for this. I’d settle for a week even lol. (PLEASE) I’d like to have 4k content at some point also. Its just a data stream so if its offered elsewhere I’m not sure why YouTube doesn’t offer it. If those 2 things are fixed it’s a 5 star app! I’d give 4 1/2 stars if I could even with my concerns.

I’ve had it for a year now and we had our issues at first but now, hands down the best live TV streaming platform out there. I have them all and yttv is the easiest to maneuver around in. I love it. From the live TV, dvr, add-ons and just general operating, no question, the best out there by far imo. Thanks Google And YouTube!!!

I LOVE the shows & movies on here but the ads are RIDICULOUS. They’re so frequent, repetitive & way too long for how frequently they have them & the app eats up my data way too quickly. When you have to pay $68 for a streaming app you shouldn’t have to see ads…. You also get stuck rewatching every ad set if you’re trying to navigate to a certain spot in the show. If you’ve already watched something & sat thru all the ads you shouldn’t have to see them again if you rewatch something..

Since latest update on my Samsung phone the app is extremely glitchy. It stops in the middle of commercials. Screen goes black but sound plays. Completely stops working and have to tap reload and eventually it will play again. It is a pain. I have tried all of the troubleshooting instructions and nothing worked. You pay enough for the service you should get a better experience. *I have sent feedback and the reply I get is that they couldn’t fix the issue*

Highly recommended. It’s my go-to television connection. My only gripe is that the so-called DVR..will not always keep things recorded. . and wants to steer you towards on demand. You can skip commercials on recorded shows but on demand programs force you to sit through repetitive commercials. The trick is not to let your recorded shows that you really like go unwatched for very long.. otherwise they switch to on-demand.
