The idea is great, but the app needs more work. The audio player is bad. It interupts with every action, and even with a simple reopening of the app it stops and restarts the current blink. It’s not practical. If I want to browse the app while listening, the player stops. Fix this because the idea is great.

For me, it’s a great app to maximize my knowledge gain with regard to personal development. Until now I found all the books I was interested. The downside for me it’s that the app freezes on my phone (LG V30 with Android 9 ) after first blink, on any book & every time but voice continues. I cannot forward or backward or skip a blink – just to force stop the application from OS. I tried reinstalling, clearing the cache etc, it just does the same. @blinkist, how could this be solved? Thank you!

The free version gives you one great diary of a book a day. The sumarists are engaging and the ideas are presented in a way that makes you feel as though you’ve read the content rather than only hearing the main concepts retold. Not every blink is of interest to me but there are enough during a week to feel like I am learning concepts new to me told ina familiar conversational way. I recommend this app for anyone interested in learning new concepts in an engaging time-efficient way.

It’s really good at first but then you kind of burn through the main blinks in the catagory that you are interested in. It would be nice to see more content. A large portion of the catalog seems geared towards the self help catagory. I guess if that’s what sells, you can’t blale them. Ps. Super annoying on Android. I turned off all notifications but it keeps sending me random push notifications about recommendations. There is no way to turn it off. The android app can be better.

Much improved! For the newer blinkists, THANK YOU! for doing away the annoying “The Key Message Here” interjections. The music and sound effects are a nice addition, however, on many of the musicals, the pauses in between paragraphs and sections go on too long. What used to be a 15 minute listen now takes half an hour. But otherwise, thanks again for taking away the key takeaways and making this app more enjoyable. I read them more now than listening though, because it doesn’t take as much time.
