This would be a good app if there wa a more uptake from drivers. At most there are usually 3 black cabs showing at peak times in major cities and they rarely pick up fares through the app. At least with Uber you know someone will pick up the ride.

Chris the driver was great, but the ride cost almost £20 more than we were quoted on Gett. We very much want to support black cabs and drivers, but this doesn’t work for us. We chalked it up to experience, and never again.
The app itself is ok; the issue is that you get accepted by a taxi driver then 5 mins later they decide that it’s not worth their while then cancel the job, leaving you back to waiting for another driver to take the job. We this happen 4 times until someone actually took the job which made us 30 mins late.

This was our first attempt in using the Gett app. We were amazed at the friendliness and courteous driver that we had. If all the drivers are like he was will use the app over and over again.
Liked the app when it worked last year had some issues logging in again this year but I guess support did their magic after the response and I got back in again. Took a while for the response though so no 5 stars.
