Where does our weather app data come from?

Our data comes from a variety of sources including our own in-house forecast models and the Bureau of Meteorology. The Weatherzone Total Lightning Network is the most advanced lightning detection network in Australia, with lightning data delayed by up to 10 minutes for app users. Attention: Brisbane! Free Severe Weather Warning Alerts

Brisbane City Council has partnered with Weatherzone to provide Brisbane residents with free severe weather alerts. The alerts are location-based, so you only receive warnings if you may be impacted. Note that location-based features use the GPS running in the background and this can impact your device’s battery usage.

They have changed the functionality of the app to the latest version No longer updates location by refreshing the app. Every time you change the location, it adds to your favorites. Not good when traveling. I have been a pro member for years and have enjoyed the app up until now. I contacted support but just went around in circles with them

You can’t change location on the app, once you change it to where you are, it automatically decides where it thinks you are located, then goes back to that instead, no matter how many times you try and set it to where you want it to set to……awful app. Save your time and don’t download it. It used to be a great app, now 1 star is to many

Use to be a great app, still is OK however I have two android devices and I use to have notifications on for weather warnings but I had to turn all notifications off as I get bombarded once to twice a day (one day I received 5) with notifications for sheep grazing! I have been traveling through vic for 2 months now, haven’t seen any sheep in months of travel in remote and rural areas, but thy aside, idgaf about sheep? I want weather warnings?! Grazing is not a weather warning!
