This is such a soothing game for me! The visuals, the music, and the sound effects are so peaceful and can ease my mind when my anxiety starts creeping in. You can play free mode where you’re just endlessly skiing down this mountain, no rewards, no points, no game over, just you and the mountain. But there’s also a game mode where there’s objectives, stakes, and different cool features to get you excited!! I’m so glad I found this game. It never has any issues and it’s such a pleasure to play
It’s a beautifully executed game, and I am in love with the visuals and soundtrack, but oh my god, the ads. The ads are insane. There’s one after every single run and half of the time they’re impossibly hard to X out of. A couple of months ago, this wasn’t a problem, but it’s become a lot worse. Takes away a lot from the experience, which sucks.
Used to play Alto on my Pixel 5 almost everyday. Then I switched to Pixel 8 pro and experienced constant frame dropping which ruined the experience. Today I got the Pixel 9 pro, and to my surprise, the frame performance issue still exists. Basically frames drop/jump almost every second which completely ruins the game play making you fall more often.
I absolutely love this game!! It has simple but effective and cute graphics, the music is really relaxing and there is a variety of characters to play as. The game can keep me entertained for a very long time. My one slight criticism, although this could be just me or my phone, is that in in-game night time, I find the rocks (obstacles) very hard to see as they blend a lot into everything else due to their colour.
This game is so relaxing… and also addictive! Love the graphics of the game as well, it’s so beautiful. Odyssey and Adventure are such beautiful games, and I highly reccommend this game for people with anxiety who just need to chill… and maybe also get mad at a video game lol Edit: I just redownloaded it, and my google play did not transfer my original data. Instead, it saved the new game as my new data. I give it 4 stars now as it is also.. glitchy..
Alto’s Odyssey is newer and better than this game in numerous (but subtle) ways. Also, this game runs a tad choppy on my device (but Odyssey runs well). Also, I encountered a severe glitch in Zen mode after I fell off a cliff; the game lifted me up as expected, but then suddenly even higher and all terrain disappeared, and the character then started having visual tears/glitches, and no terrain appeared again. I then did Android’s “go back” gesture, and the pause menu also looked severely broken.
Game starts I see the initial title screen then goes black and audio plays, can’t get past the black screen. Not sure if its an Intel or ZenFone 2 issue.
This game is probably one of the best of the entire play store . It has gorgeous graphics , soothing music a simple gameplay and an awesome feel . So , you’re a snowboarder , Alto , and your llamas have escaped . You then engage in a “quest” to go save them all
Fun! Fun! Fun! This game is very addictive. A great time killer. Nice crisp graphics and easy to play. 5 stars
