The game itself is great. The online version is terrible!! We love the game itself and this online version is ruining it. We were quite excited when Catan Universe came out, but with the last version it’s gotten even worse. First the Kicktimer is ridiculous, we play it with other people online at home, the 3 minutes it gives is not even enough to go on a toilet break. It’s really stupid that it just kicks you out and doesn’t give the other human players a chance to extend it if needed. Actually it should be a choice whether you play with the kick timer or without. Also the latest constantly disconnects from server, then it also mysteriously restarts on its own, meanwhile the stupid kicktimer kicks you out and replaces you with AI. We have now stopped playing until the developers learn how to fix these issues.

I was skeptical about this change to a free mode at first, but after redeeming all of my purchases from the old app I’m quite impressed! The game feels way more functional on the whole, and you even get to carry purchases to other platforms, and it even has crossplay! The only one problem I have is that I can’t really find the button to pay for Rivals for Catan?
