Love this game; it’s so nice and wholesome! There has been issues with my progress resetting, but whenever that happens I breeze through the intro sequence then contact support through the game’s settings, and they fix it in like a day. One thing I really wish the game had though is the ability to replay cutscenes, because the stories are just really cute.
It’s a really cute game and I wanted to give it a chance because it supports a real sanctuary, but there’s just too many bugs. I’ve been able to recover progress 3 times by logging out and pressing recover, but now that doesn’t work anymore either and I’ve lost my lvl 18 account. That page now only remembers the games it started when it crashed and having to wait 24hrs for support just isn’t worth it when it gives the same issue 4 times in 48hrs

I love it, it’s simplistic, easy, etc. The biggest complaint is how the app will crash for no reason and every time I get back on, it’ll show me my dogs running around for a split second before forcing me out again. Luckily I can just wait half an hour and be able to get on to pet, feed, play, and collect hearts to continue the stories

I am only on 3rd level, and I think it is really fun, cute, and great for a dog lover. I do find it a bit repetitive, but that will probably change over time. I olso do think Runaway’s other games are really good too. If you delete their games, your progress will not be saved, though.

Edit: After 2 years of playing this game, it has become quite dull. The events are all repeats from the years prior… I already have all the rewards from the bake-offs, so why even participate? I have been at the max level for probably a year now. Not much to do after completing the stories. I have 3 senior rescues myself (2 dogs and 1 cat), so this game is perfect for me. I recently applied to vet school and want to focus on old animals. This game is everything I want out of life!!!
One of the first times a mobile game has truly felt like a game. Love oozes from every millimeter of this experience. Even the ads are non-intrusive, and from what I understand completely optional. Highly recommend!
