To other users, I found this out the hard way: Confirm that the backup file is actually complete upon saving. (Internal Storage>”PrivateDiaryBackup.zip”) Sometimes, it doesn’t finish saving. Save was successful if you open the .zip file and a bunch of little folders load. If it didn’t save then, when you try to open it, it won’t load and you’ll get an error message. Make sure, every time you backup, then back-up the back-up on an SD card or separate device.

App was no longer working on Samsung device since latest Android system update. Had to uninstall and reinstall it. All my past entries were initially missing but fortunately I was able to restore them by syncing my account from another device with the app. It’s a good diary app but no longer seems supported, as it hasn’t been updated for a few years.

I have used this app for years, but when I recently tried to get in on my android app, It does not work, getting messages that says the app keeps crashing. I can still get in on the website, but I have lost at least the last 2 years of entries, which is very sad. Am copying what I can before the website no longer works. Have emailed the developer but No response. They are in Russia, so not expecting much.

Hi developers,. Can you add an option which will allows us to quickly find the diary entries for a particular date for all the years,. So that i can quickly find out what i was doing all the previous years on this particular date.

Used this app for years but it seems the developer does not maintain it anymore. There is especially a problem with device synchronization and loss of information but I would really love to have it back at its best

Please fix. I’ve used this apps for over 5 years…. A wonderful apps…last few years updates happen. Apps was not working for me but i can access through the websites. Now websites is not working. Lost all my entries… Please please fix i love this apps….

I have been using this for so long (2+years) without a problem. All of a sudden it asks for permission to access my files and location which I denied and now the app wont even open.

This app is great and helpful. My entries were kept for many years. Even after changing different phones, I can retrieve my previous entries thru installing this app to the new phone.

Please make the save function a default. In this way, if we forget to save when we close, or are distracted by call, we will not lose our entry. This was the mode in an earlier version. Please restore this mode. It’s the mode in all word processors like MSWORD. Thanks Shalom

I have been using it since 2014, it’s amazing! But I cannot access it through my PC today, is there a problem? also, how can i restore my entries ? and reset password?

The App Private Diary free and Pro have been excellent since 2015 however yesterday it stopped working saying there was a bug and refuses to open. It appears i may have lost 8 yrs of data. I have sent an email without success to date.

I have been using this app for more than 5 year. But suddenly facing problem of not opening. I am not able to see my saved information. Please guidee to see all my saved information again. Hoping you will solve the problem soon.
