Shikaku – Enjoy your time and develop your deductive skills

[Game] Shikaku

Shikaku  Shikaku is the most addictive puzzle game on Android today!

The game is a brain teasing, laid back puzzle that makes for an excellent fill of your spare time. If you’re a fan of Sudoku and looking for slightly different puzzle game but equally entertaining then you will love Shikaku!

Each puzzle contains a box with some numbers. Similar to Sudoku, there is much more to this than first meets the eye and once you try the first few puzzles you’ll want to do many more.

Shikaku user reviews :

Relaxing zen like space management game. Smooth interface makes you want to do it more. Melodious music. Lite. Thankyou for making it

Fun game but I got through all of the free puzzles in one sitting. Also not optimized for modern phones.

Simple but great puzzle game. But free levels provided are very less, where there are many other apps which provide upto 1000 free levels.

I’ve been playing the full version of this for a while now, (thanks to AppGratis) and the more I’ve played the more I’ve appreciated the work the devs have put into it. The interface is nice and clean and simple to use and the puzzles are tricky enough to make you think but not so hard that you get frustrated. Well done devs, thank you. One question though, are there any more puzzle packs coming, preferably 10*10 (maybe even 11*11, or off-square variants 10*7 for example)?

  • Thanks for the feedback Gavin. The main restriction with larger puzzle sizes is that they don’t fit well on all screen sizes. We will consider this feature for future versions depending on feedback from our users. Glad you’re enjoying the game!

Nice, clean and simple graphics. Easy and intuitive controls. Very cheap to unlock everything add free. The problem: gets old fast, there is too little variation. The combination of small games and square boxes. Odd numbers are almost always straight lines, there are tons of 2s and 3s. I played similar where boxes did not need to be square, this allowed for much more variation. Bigger than 10:10 is indeed no option for phones.

The gameplay in itself isn’t faulty or terrible at all. However, the levels don’t vary very much in difficulty and I completed the whole game with 3 stars in every level in about an hour. This game needs to be harder and have more levels

The puzzles difficulty comes from beating the clock instead of the logic used to solve it. There’s a few issues with the rectangles too. It’s very easy to clean off the rectangles that you have already drawn making it frustrating to quickly draw rectangles. You’ll probably finish this quickly but be left unsatisfied.

I can’t even get the tutorial to work. Are you supposed to be able to draw a line from the number if it’s in the middle of the shape you’re trying to draw? For instance, on puzzle 1 I can’t draw the five. Please help!

It’s overall a good game but it would take the cake if it had more levels. I completed the whole thing in about forty five minutes.

Clean well thought out puzzle good colour and family friendly. What more could l want well larger puzzles made for tablets ? You really couldn’t have done any better with this game devs many many thanks. !! keeper!! Most definitely!

I loved it. Good play, fun puzzles. The only down side is I beat all the levels on all 3 difficulties with the full 3 stars in about an hour of game play. But it was fun and quick.

Fantastic idea… …and really playable, but like a few others have said, way too easy. I just downloaded it 45 minutes ago and I’ve 3 starred every level. Need more levels asap please!!

The free levels are very easy, basically you race against time. But if you approach that way, it can be a half hour fun.
