“This is not the UnWa game you’re looking for”. Seriously though, this game really brings back a LOT of fond memories. Excellent job reviving the game, but not on revitalizing it. This game looks, and plays, OLD (coming from someone who doesn’t think graphics determines a game’s worth). Town navigation and combat works like old UnWa games, albeit with somewhat better graphics. And the red gems are very expensive for what players are getting. Sad. Very sad.

Based on a cult classic, Uncharterd Waters is phenomenal. This game hits the thrill of exploration like no other in the modern era. (Think Skies of Arcadia and the sense of discovery it gave you) If you want to relax, you can just build trade routes and a massive treasure fleet. Has far more depth than most paid games I’ve played. Only complaint is that managing your ships and understanding all the stats can take some time to get used to.

My all time favourite game is back !!! Thank you so much !! I’ve finished the SNES version many times with all characters and find everything ! I’ve been waiting so long for this ! But, the gameplay seems.. You know, something’s just not fit into the frame. This comes from a seasoned UWNH players. Please make the game more enjoyable for us. You guys know what I mean if you just play the previous game. More than that, it satisfies my soul to see Catalina back in action after so long !!!
Fun and complex game with many mechanics and depth in gameplay roleplaying as an explorer of the 16th century. However the “microtransactions” are stupidly overpriced. Base packages are minimum $40 a pop. I would like to support this game, but when the lowest package is $40, I nope out. More people should play this game as it is a gem, but goddamn are the microtransactions a huge turn off.
