full internet access – Downloading album art

read sensitive log data – Error/crash reporting (can be disabled in preferences)

modify/delete SD card contents – Editing tags, saving playlists, saving equalizer presets, and saving downloaded album art

read phone state and identity – Pausing/Resuming playback when receiving calls

prevent phone from sleeping – Prevent device from sleeping during playback

view network state – Check for a connection before attempting to download album art

Finally a music player for Android that correctly diaplays and browses by the album artist tag. Alsilo correctly displays Japanese in bpth UTF and Shift-JIS. The configurable Now Playing screen and configurable Album Art scaling modes make things fit even on my 320×240 display. 10/10 would install again.

Best looking player out there, with plenty of options, and it’s gapless!

I have about 3 great players on Android market on my Droid x (I don’t want to list them) but this gives all the features I’ve been looking for.
