Touhou LostWord user reviews :

As someone who is a huge fan of Touhou, this game could be a bit better. Don’t get me wrong, the story (despite what other people say) is really great. Honestly I think it’s very interesting. The art and the voice acting is flawless too, just the gacha is do incredibly.. bad… It is way too expensive especially considering there’s a daily task that says to do prayers… I don’t know.. also not to mention the whole concept is practically stolen from Azur Lane.

I mean, the game is very meh. Like it’s fine to play, but there’s not much to do and you’ll find yourself just farming rather quickly. Resource management (that being the things you need to upgrade your units) is also horrible, with several things having other uses beyond upgrading units so you end up mixing material uses. Finally, the game has been having a lot of trouble just logging into the game and claiming my log-in rewards (which has been causing me to miss my free rolls).

It’s a great game don’t get me wrong. Great graphics, art, music, characters, etc. But the only problem I have is the gacha system. I understand it’s meant to be challenging but it’s pretty much kinda rigged. Also pricey. (50 crystals for 10 rolls) Feel like that should be lowed down to 40 or 30. Grinding for 50 is a lil too much. Also, there’s nothing after Chapter 2. I can’t tell if that’s the end of the game or if there are just stories to be added but overall its a good game!

Been playing for awhile and I have neither good or bad things to talk about. It’s pretty standard for a gacha game. Combat is very straight forward, not alot going on with it at the moment. The pull rates for units are all the same, so there’s nothing like 6*/rare units(which tbh was the hype for me). Game just recently went global, so content is still getting updated. That’s it. Honestly, I don’t hate it but it’s lackluster as is. Maybe my expectations were too high but since I’m a casual, meh.

People generally complain about the rates of drops on gacha ganes including this one but a 5% rate is generous for this kind of thing, nit to mention how easy it is to get Crystals. Many people apparently can’t beat the tutorial but it’s simple when you actually read it. I just wish the game came out with a finished story, while the harder difficulties provide entertainment while waiting for the next chapter they just make you overleveled for the new stages.

When you compare it to it’s competition, it is an absolutely solid game. If you love Touhou, there is no harm in giving it a try. But, trying to roll for a character you want is borderline impossible. The banner or “Festival” characters only have a 0.5% of dropping. There is a pity system of 150 rolls, but it resets every Festival, making it redundant. The story, the art, the music are all wonderful, and the “Story Cards” or augmentations are really cool too. But good luck getting your favorite.

The dialogue is so perfect for the characters, the artwork is beautiful, the gameplay is interesting and unique, the rate of earning currency is very fair, the music is wonderful.. I’m a huge Touhou fan, and this game is honestly perfect. I could go on for hours about how much I love it, but I’ll put it simply: If you like Touhou, you must play this game!
