NieR Reincarnation user reviews :

Feels Like A Love Letter The core gameplay includes exploration and turn based battles, so it plays like a traditional turn based battle game. This is a first for the NieR series, but it looks like the combat you would expect from NieR, and the game handles it remarkably. I was confused by some of the things that are required to advance, but I think I was happy to be confused. The payoff was rewarding. Haha, the transparent letterbox is just so NieR.

The games story seems interesting and it runs well, for me at least. The graphics are on the more impressive side for a mobile game as well. The combat doesn’t feel good to play, though. If you enjoy games that require little to no input from you, which sounds sarcastic but I’m aware that’s an entire genre of mobile games, you’ll probably like this. I found the game disappointing overall, personally. Oh, and the gacha seems alright, has pity and ok rates.

It seems like an engaging and beautiful phone game, but there is no middle ground between playing w/ bad slowdown (medium graphics settings) and dropping half of the frames to get it to run (low settings). I tried a bunch of stuff to clean up my phone and make it run better, but nothings doin’. Will have to come back in a couple weeks to see if it’s improved.

I changed the one star because of the freezing. It doesn’t seem to freeze as much. So far, I love how mature everything seems to be. It has that “Nier” strangeness to it. I’m just not a fan of the gacha system. Most games allow for heroes to be apart of the gacha while weapons are for exploration but this game puts both in the same pool which is done purposely to gain more money. I just think this type of game doesn’t need that type of greed. Hopefully they make a few subtle changes.

The game started to work, and as expected. It’s amazing, the beauty of the surroundings, and the music background. Breath taking I reached another problem, which is similar to everyone, the moment when ‘Mama’ starts to explain the load out for your allies, the game crashes and now it won’t start again. Instead it crashes during the loading screen. Pls, have this bug fixed

Alongside the constant crashes and not being able to launch into the game, the gameplay is lackluster at best, with it being slow and tedious, both the “World Exploration” which involves walking in a long straight line until your next mission, then slow boring story cutscenes. Overall the game is just a big waste of time, which is sad, as I’ve been looking forward to the game since reveal, and the gameplay is completely different from what was shown off before release

I’ve tried 3 times in a row to use the Loadout screen in the second chapter. It crashes there every. Single. Time. No deviations. Well, besides the length of time it takes to crash there. It’s definitely a good game until that point. I do have a few gripes. Mainly that some sounds don’t match up with the animation, and that weapon story animations like running are slow. I’m rocking a Samsung A71, I shouldn’t have this much of a problem.

This game is absolutely breathtaking! The developers did an amazing job creating a world that is gorgeous. Gameplay is incredible and the soundtrack is like audible chocolate. I wear my headphones so I can get completely enveloped by the harmonic sounds of Nier! I have not encountered any in-game glitches or issues, but I’ll be sure to edit them in to allow the developers to correct anything. THIS GAME IS A MUST PLAY!
