You can tweak the design to your liking with the powerful settings available. Swipe in the middle of the screen to navigate between the pages. Tap on the top titles for additional options. The mp3 music player keeps tracks of your most played Artists and Albums giving you a smart startpage called ‘Play Now’ with suggestions what to play.

Overall, this app has been fantastic! I switched from my last player when it started getting glitchy, and have been really happy with it so far. However, yesterday I added a bunch of new music files, and after I edited the tags, the files wouldn’t play. They were working just fine before that. Even renaming the file itself caused them to not work. I’ve never had this problem before. Any ideas?

I used this app on my old phone as my primary music player. When I got a new phone, it came with Google Play Music, so I used that until Google killed it. I’ve since switched back to BlackPlayer and it’s been great except for one thing: the lack of Google Maps integration. With Google Play Music, I could control it from Google Maps, which was nice when I needed to use voice controls while driving. I know that third party apps can do this too. This would be a killer feature.

I’ve been using this app for years and only recently its started giving me problems. I add songs to my phone and no matter what i do, it won’t gain access to the files. I’ve tried refreshing the library, changing the access folder, nothing works. This is a great app otherwise, please fix this issue!! I have a Huawei Note 8T

I really like it but I gave it 3 stars because the app has a serious bug of closing or shutting down whilst in the middle of enjoying your music. I’ve tried out BlackPlayer Ex but the same issue is observed in the app. Fifth Source please fix this. I would hate to dislike this app, nevertheless it has great customisation and I think that’s the best of all features

Does the job but doesn’t play recently downloaded mp3 even though there’s nothing wrong with the file. Also, when adding an image to an album, the image disappears as soon as you close the app and reopen it. Hope this will be fixed in the next update.

It does the job nicely, though what stops it from being a 5 star is only 2 things : 1: I can’t change the image of the song if I wanted to, and 2: I can’t just close the song once I decided to choose a song, and the best we can do is just pause it. Otherwise, the app is amazing, and would wish to see it get those things.

This is such a good app, but a buggy one at that. Whenever I try to use another app or even this app to stream a song, the dropdown menu will display two other songs that aren’t being played at all. Even when I block notifications and uninstall the app they still show up.

The absolute best and most customizable using player out there. 100% worth the price to purchase the Pro version. I’ve been using this app for years now and have no reason to ever use anything else. Each time I get a new phone I delete the stock using app and download BlackPlayer. Support has been very responsive the few times I’ve had to contact them when rare issues crop up from time to time. I honestly can’t believe the app is still being updated. I’m seriously impressed with this app!
