I love the game but have a hard time recommending it for new players. Every month is a new update, with new content and new heroes, it is almost impossible for a new player to catch up to everyone already playing. Additionally, the game is poorly optimized for Android, so everytime I play the game my phone starts overheating. 1 in 10 fights I go into will randomly crash the game, which registers as a loss, which is really only frustrating in PvP. All considered, though, it is a fantastic game!
I absolutely love this game! Sadly, since it was just launched people are critical of the maintenance time needed, but overall, the game is really fun! It’s not a pay to play, and the crystals needed to build special buildings, or draw special cookies are easy to get. Game play is simple, and construction wait time is lower than other games. The storyline is also impressively done, and the characters are adorable and unique. Overall, a very well done game Devsisters!!!!!!
Hate town builders, but I loved Cookie Run, so I decided to try it. Most town builders want you to grind for hours just for a single building that then takes time to build. Now, there are obviously still idle elements, but so far the game is very fair. On my first day playing I got over 8,000 gems! So far I have had a few problems such as lag and the music constantly restarting in the first fight, but the game is brand new, this will probably be fixed with a later update.
The game itself is fun and addicting. The storyline is interesting and cute. Resources are pretty generous. However, there are so many things in one game that I can’t focus (4 types of battles, building village & producing, update the cookies, etc). Also, I hope you manage to fix the lagging and (minor) bugs, plus decrease the loading time in the game to make it even more enjoyable. Keep it up!
I was really enjoying the game (and like most people, had a performance issue when the initial launch came, but that got fixed thankfully). However, in the middle of doing a bounty run, a message came up saying that “an error occured,” and it’s “having trouble processing the request,” then the game bugged and I got stuck. I couldn’t leave the run, or attack – it just froze. I closed out of the game and tried to re-enter, but the same message popped up, and now I can’t enter or play at all.
Downloaded since release and so far things are looking good. Really liked cookie run: ovenbreak and was looking forward to this. There is that level of difficulty, which is fine I like it. I don’t feel like I have to buy stuff to do things so far, which is usually a deal breaker. I certainly do look to buying some packages if I see good price/rewards to make it worth it. I don’t see that yet so I am holding back on it. You guys are really generous with the rewards for quests, etc. though
Came to love Cookie Run last year, now I’ve been playing this non-stop. Sometimes I’ll have an issue where my level up rewards won’t come unless I exit the app and come back, but otherwise I’ve had minimal technical issues. Love the art, can’t say too much about the gatcha just yet. Can’t wait for more characters! I don’t know much about toppings combos and such so I’ll have to research on that so I can get stronger (I’m near the end of Ch. 4 already and its tough!)
