Idle Light City user reviews :

Fun little game but in desperate need of some QoL updates. Batch upgrades being first and foremost. Batches of 10 and 100 would dramatically increase the playability once prestige is achieved. There also needs to be a bit more of a cool down between ads. The game already slows down to a crawl once you unlock Block C because of all of objects on screen, and the ad pop-ups don’t help matters there.

  • Hello! An update is expected shortly. Thank you for staying with us! We will try to please you as much as possible, implementing all your wishes.

It’s cute. However it is heavily reliant on ads and they’re anywhere from 40-50 secs long. You in theory could play without watching them but the progress is going to crawl unless playing hours on end. Another downside is it’s $28 to remove all ads and I thought $15 was too high. A perk though you get 5 gems for one ad pretty frequently. So spending money isn’t necessary unless you really cannot do ads. Would like to know what special ads were removed with the $10 starter pack though.

  • Thanks for your feedback! We are constantly working on the ads’ settings to make them appropriate for everyone.

At first it’s a fun, mindless way to spend down time. But it gets frustrating very fast because you have to keep restarting your city with prestige. This wouldn’t be an issue if it was only a few times, but it becomes continuous and only gains you minimal progress in the game. I’d keep playing if they didn’t make it so hard to simply waste my time.

  • Thank you very much for the feedback. We will continue to look into the balance of the game and do our best to make improvements to this.

Its is an okay game but would better if you didn’t have ads constantly when trying to mass buy your house upgrades. Sometimes I can upgrade over 10 times and sometimes only once before it gives me the +10 levels AD button. Then i have to wait for it to go, just to do maybe 3 more upgrades before it comes back. I don’t mind the other ad parts, it just that one part. I think an option to say “no thank you” and carry on would be great.

  • Thanks for the stars! We are glad that you enjoyed the game!

Too many ads for a great game. I love the concept, the animations, sounds, music, it’s all really good and I would love to play more. I can’t get passed the forced ads though, I watch voluntary ones that reward bonuses all the time but a forced ad completely interrupts the flow of the game. So for now I gotta decide between paying for no ads, or not playing at all because there is no middle ground

  • Thanks for your feedback! We are constantly working on the ads settings to make it appropriate for everyone. You should check our new option to turn all the ads off, even rewarded ones. With this option players will earn the rewards without watching any videos.

Thought this game would be fun and relaxing, but with every few upgrades came another “watch an ad to unlock this boost”. I can understand that every once in a while, but it seemed like the entire game was based around making a profit. Edit: Other than the ad issues, I did really enjoy the game. The way the idle progression plays out is very smooth, and the art design is adorable. The reason I’m so upset with the ads is because the game could easily be the next thing I’m hooked to for months.

  • Thanks for your feedback! We apologize for the inconvenience. Also, you can purchase our No-Ads option, which allows you to get prizes without watching ads!

The game itself is fun-ish. It’s a pretty simple idle clicker. There are a lot; and I mean a lot, of ads in the game. Most are easily avoidable, but progress will be very slow without using them. I’ve had ads auto-play twice. If you click on anything in game, there’s a chance an ad will play. The downside; aside from the overabundance of ads, is their TOS popup. You can’t continue without agreeing to it. Data collection policies are a no from me.

  • Now we are working on the settings, and we’ll try to add an option to avoid ALL the ads – as the community wants. We hope that it will be useful for you.
