At the higher tiers, the accumulation of resources slows down dramatically; which makes it much harder to upgrade heroes in your roster. Overall, the user interface is very simple to understand and navigate through. It is not necessary to spend real money to enjoy the game unless you want to speed up your game play progression exponentially.
The game is fine, very nice. I installed it 23 days ago and i play it daily. I reached lvl 49, but there is a big problem with farmable items. The resources are scarce and i can’t keep up with upgrading characters. It should be a little easier for newcomers as your requirements for different events are waaaaaaaaay to difficult for us. I also have a big issue with the unbalanced heroes.
I’ve been playing this game for nearly 3 years at this point, and while I love it overall, the power creep has gotten out of control since Scopely took over. The newest characters are always BY FAR the strongest, then you need those new characters developed far enough (typically to a point that can only be achieved by dropping $50+) in order to obtain the next new, insanely MORE powerful character. I get that devs gotta make a buck, but Scopely could afford to do it in a much less obvious way.
I usually don’t write long reviews but after reading some of the negative reviews here, written by people who genuenly don’t understand the game, I have to. I am playing this game for more than a year now. I have not spent any money on it (except maybe like 4€) and I am getting very far, having a great time playing. This game will take time. You will need to grind and play daily to get ahead. You will aid alliances and fight in Realtime to win. It is great fun and addicting! 10/10!
Gameplay is good, offers a lot of tactical elements, and also gives new players the chance to get going and quickly having fun. There is real potential here for a really great turn based squad fighter here, although power creep and balance issues have become a major problem. Free to play is ok, you can unlock a good list of chars in a few months. The only problem is it is so expensive if you want something specific. £28 to only to get halfway to unlock a char is insane. Stay FtP and casual.
Vast improvement with how they are represented by CS. Cant give a perfect rating. Not till they fix the war matchmaking. There needs to be division of power. There is a reason junior football and pro football are different leagues. If not the result would be the death of 1000’s of children. Also, until there is some relatively reasonable offers, I can not give it 5*. So no more greed, and no more impossible wars. There has to be a form of actual possible success.
