Marvel Unlimited user reviews :
Really good selection of comics, though it’s missing some of the more ‘mature’ runs, like Alias, Punisher, and Deadpool. The app itself is hot garbage, though. Truly one of the worst apps I’ve ever used, especially considering it comes from such a big company. The search function does not work well and is laid out poorly. You can download 12 issues at a time, but if you have a spotty internet connection, the app will automatically sign out and, since you have no connection, you can’t sign back in. I was told to turn off WiFi while reading offline, but that still only works sometimes. Regardless, the user should not have to jump through hoops because the app is trash. On one occasion when the internet went out and I was forced to sign back in, it didn’t recognize my credentials and I accidentally signed up for a second subscription. When I emailed them about it, they told me they didn’t know what I was talking about. I had to email a screenshot of my bank account for them to believe me, and they still didn’t do anything about it.
It’s nice to have so many comics at your finger tips but with there being so many, a working search bar is important. You can type the title of a comic correctly and it still won’t show, if you scroll down through the long list and find it the hard way, you’ll see it is in fact there. Would also be nice if they add a way to remove comics from the currently reading list once you’re done. Best thing this app offers tho is “infinite” comics, they’re like motion comics! Fun to read.
