Velociraptor user reviews :

After latest update app is always in notification bar telling me it’s running in background.

It works every time, easy to use, and accurate information.

Works very well. Worthy of support.

Finally! Been wanting this feature for awhile. Thanks so much. It is not perfect but works well enough and I see you are working hard to fine tune it. Keep up the good work.

Needs useful features I appreciate this new app. I don’t like the intricate mechanism to enable it… The must important problem/missing feature, is the lack of a sound advising the user who exceeds speed limit: if the app works in combination with Google maps, so a person who is driving, that must keep eyes on the road, it must be warned in some way !!!

Finally, speed limits shown and current speed shown..making Google maps better than a dedicated GPS (IMHO). This is the biggest thing that has been missing from Google maps… with the constant updates, and other add-ons like live traffic re-routing.. Google maps is the best navigation solution out there! Hopefully Google will officially add this ability into the Maps app themselves before long… but for now I am thrilled to have this feature via a 3rd party app. I’d give it 5 stars if the notifications were better for speed thresholds.

Fantastic!!Exactly what I need in Google map. Adding some kind of a sound when the speed limit is exceeded will be appreciated.

Works fine in Google maps but would be higher rated if this also worked with Google maps in Android Auto.

  • Hi Ed, unfortunately that is not possible – the Auto SDK does not allow apps to add floating elements to the screen. I am, however, adding audio beep alerts.
