How to play:
Enter a daily challenge;
As a designer, you are given a specified amount of cash to create your dream design;
Select an item you wish to decorate;
Scroll down through the options;
Read the Design Brief and impress your fellow Designers by choosing the best combination of colors, textures, and materials;
Vote for other players’ designs and have an impact on the results.

I enjoy the game, i like that it just designing without having to play mini games. I like that you have choices but getting more choices is too hard. I think that rather just diamond purchases & wins that you should be able to use the money to purchase other options. Another frustrating thing is people dont seem to read the clients wish & a lot of the winning designs have not followed them. Some of the designs are just completely wrong. I have won a few but never 5 stars…
the game has a good concept and the graphic is amazing. however,my biggest dislike for the app is: 1.the game crashes,not as bad as it first did. 2.the amount of v.i.p time is lame,we should be able to get the prizes for the whole season not just for 14 days. 3.the amount of gold used for some items are crazy we should at least be able to unlock that item in full not just for 5 at a time. 4. I wished the seasons was longer 5. more to close from
The voting is…the more I play, more likely I find unrelated designs get higher score (not always but yeah…) I saw many great and suitable designs get low scores, it’s really unfortunate for players who tried to follow the brief and clients’ requests. The winning design is likely in beige, black and white…..doesn’t matter even when the client ask for vibrant. Or when client ask for warm tone, the winner is using all cool tone.

I think you have a good concept but you need to change the process when spending money to get new items and I get ones I already have or three of the same. That’s really unfair. I’ll give it another update to see some changes. Redecor is a better design app and continues to listen to their players and making changes. Wake up Home Design Star..You’re losing us..
I’m addicted to this game. The furniture is real and there are plenty of options to choose from (not just 3 as in other, similar games). The player can earn money to spend on design elements and there are no annoying ads or candy crush games. The game is about interior design and that’s what the player does. The competition with other players is what makes this game exciting and keeps me coming back.
