Awesome game. Slow paced, but interesting. LE: please do something about the research button, add a confirmation for research crates purchase, it can be accidentally tapped twice or more if the game gets laggy, leading to purchase of the crates without intending to.
Overall, this game is fun and quite immersive. However, I can’t in good conscience rate higher than three stars for the extensiveness of the random mechanics. The game tries to incentivise players to spend real-world money to get access to more ships. The drop rates for ships in free-to-play lootboxes is next to zero (I’ve opened hundreds of lootboxes and have only ever gotten three ship blueprints, two of which only partially unlocked a new ship or variant of an already existing one).
Started the game and at first all the pre-rendered videos looked pretty cool and exciting. But after getting into the game it was a 5 minute or something waiting time doing nothing while you hear pointless audio logs. That part of the game seemed like, it wanted to create an atmosphere for what’s to come in the game but it was mostly underwhelming and I had no clue what to do until I figured out that I had nothing to do. After that a tutorial which just showed where to click and was lame.
Just another base building game with a sci-fi skin. Tap stuff and wait for timers to run down or open your wallet. There’s a 40hr countdown clock before my base becomes vulnerable to other players. This means it’s P2W, spend hours trying to gather resources and build ships and defences only for some whale to come along and stomp on you. No thanks, I’ll leave this one for the whales. Calling this a strategy game is a joke. Don’t believe all the fake positive reviews this has already…..
Best game I ever played. Only issue I had was if you needed dwv support. Good luck better convo with walls
