Talking Alarm Clock Beyond user reviews :
I really like the app. Very useful! I’d love to be able to set the alarm for weekdays as well and have it snooze. To be able to set can be set to a number of days: for example 28 days and repeat indefinitely. That way I can charge my phone on time too I keep forgetting how many days are left until the option expires. A separate tab for days weeks alarm would be indicated. And number of days from certain date infinite repeat. Thanks for understanding.
So far I’m really happy with this app. I was reluctant because I don’t want the alarm to talk to me but that can be turned off. I really liked the ability to turn off snooze as I never use snooze on purpose. I appreciate the warning and check to see if battery optimization was turned on. One other change I had to make was to go into Intelligent Assistant and turn off App Blocking. After that, everything worked great. (I’m on Android 11.)
I have used this app for over a year and it is about as good as an app can get, short of reading your mind. The layout is straightforward with the 3 main functions, alarm, timer, and stopwatch icons on the main screen. Operations are easy to perform, multiple alarms can be changed quickly. I have not yet used the radio feature. I am very satisfied with this app so have paid the $1.99 cost to eliminate ads. Edit – The voice of the talking alarm is annoying, but thats probably intentional.
- Raymond, in General Settings there are several Speech settings, including the ability to change the voice. Thanks, Sentry Apps
With having a schedule that literally changes every single day, this app is a lifesaver. Being able to schedule alarms by date is awesome, and the ads only pop up when the alarm goes off. There are so many options for reach alarm, there’s sure to be something for everyone’s schedule. No matter how crazy it may be. Oh, and as for the “talking” alarm, I don’t like it, but you can disable it! Sweet.
I find that this app is the most reliable way to get me up. You can easily use your own music tracks or a playlist of your music as the alarm sound, or any of the default sounds. The tasks for deactivating / snoozing an alarm prevent me from instantly hitting snooze and ignoring it. I mainly use the math problem and shake device methods, I haven’t tested all the others. You can also save what your default alarm should be like. Having the timer be able to speak while counting down would be cool
