If the app can’t start do recording on the watch it is because the app hasn’t permissions. You should enable permissions on the watch. Settings -> Permissions -> Audio Recorder.
But you can see that you can’t enable permissions. It is because different app opened transparent window at fullscreen. Some users sent me descriptions that can help:

It comes from the Wear App: “Wear minilauncher” or “Feel The Wear – Notifications”
Steps:

1 I temporarily disabled it
2 I gave you app file writing and microphon permissions (from watch >Parameters>Authorizations>Audio recorder
3 The “screen overlay detected” does not show anymore, (with or without Wear minilauncher activation)
for obviously it does not need to ask anymore permissions already given

Important! A moto 360 has a bug. At the time when a watch activated an opportunity to say “ok google” mic stops working in other applications, despite the fact that the recording is already underway. If you turn off the display, go to the Settings menu, or open any other application (it is important that there were no available “ok google”) sound recording is restored. For normal operation, you should keep the app open.

It’s a pretty decent audio recorder. A couple of things that always get me are, first, that when installing the app, by default the recording quality is set to lowest; second, I came from using the pixel audio recorder which allowed alive transcript of what I was saying… Which I think would be nice, but it’s not like I could really count that against this qualifying is an audio recorder. So, it’s pretty good.

I’m a musician and a song writer, so when something is in my head I love to record it with this app, quickly. I just wish it wouldn’t crash everytime I tried to do ANY feature other than record. Trying to share your recording? Crash. Trying to view your recording in a external player? Crash. I even paid for the pro account. Would be a perfect app if the developers fixed the crashes.

A very useful tool, both on a phone and an Wear OS (watch) device. The phone app is great for recording presentations, meetings, and more; the Wear OS app is perfect for those frequent occasions where an incredible idea pops into one’s head, allowing one’s self to quickly vocalize those thoughts. Recordings can easily be enhanced with metadata, assisting with the organization of all of those thoughts and ideas. Recordings may be synced to a phone; archival in one location allows for great use.

I love the approach of this app and I find that paying 2,50€ in order to support the development is the right approach cause the app delivers quality. I’d like to have some kind of audio wave visualization, because it helps a lot in order to find the right part of an audio while reproducing it.

does as i want. would be useful to be able to choose where to store the audio files as i want to put them onto sd card rather than internal memory. plus they don’t currently show in the audio folder on my phone so difficult to find them and use them

Love the app, good quality sound, but I can’t sync the audio clips from my Ticwatch to my Samsung phone. Don’t know if it’s just an outdated phone or a bug, but either way, it’s a decent app nonetheless.
