Writer Journal user reviews :
I honestly really love this app, I tried it out to get away from Google Docs, and it’s really helped me with my writing. The only thing keeping me from switching permanently and getting the premium is not being able to use and sync my files across my other devices, like my ipad, which I use for writing the most because holding/typing on my phone for too long is hard on my wrists. Otherwise it’s really good!
- Really liking this so far – very clean & relatively easy to use. I’ve been looking for an app to replace Gdocs & this might be the one. The only thing keeping me from getting premium is it’s unclear what kind of files I can import. If I export a docx file to my cloud service to edit on my computer, can I then reimport a docx to the app to continue editing on my phone? One feature I’d love to see that i don’t already is the option to add spacing between paragraphs, not just between lines. Thanks!
Hi there, thanks for your insightful feedback, Writer Journal currently only supports importing self declared document file, namely . wjdoc and . wjfolder. We are planning to support other file types in the future. Also,we are considering a desktop version of this app to be developed. Anyway, thanks again for your review
I find this to be useful for my writing, especially since I can’t always get to my computer. Liked it enough that I bought premium, and I deeply appreciate that it’s a single purchase and not a subscription. I noticed that importing photos/images wasn’t in the tutorial page when you first load the app, so I’m wondering if someone else could explain how to do it?
I absolutely adore this app, but there’s two features I would love to see. Them being, I don’t think there’s a feature currently to look up and substitute words. I use this feature a lot to both make sure there’s no formatting errors (like looking for double spaces, or searching for words I commonly misspell) and also to sub out words I use more excessively. The other is a formatting option, to either center the text, or move it to the right of the page. Otherwise, it’s an amazing app!
- Hi there, thanks for your thoughtful feedback , your requested features have been implemented already, we are testing it for any potential bugs, hopefully will be available within a week, stay tuned!
