Romancing SaGa user reviews :

This game is probably the best gacha game that I’ve ever played. Pros: 1.) Interesting story. 2.) Good music. 3.) Skip option for rerolling purpose. 4.) Pity system in the gacha. 5.) Free SS Style for beginners. 6.) Units are quite balanced. 7.) Good for either manual or auto playing. 8.) Devs are quite generous with in-game currency. Cons: 1.) Dated graphics (I like it personally). 2.) No auto repeat.

Lots of characters, most you will never use! Pull rate is decent but game is boring. First strike was the paid diamonds only parts of the game. The second being how annoying it is to try to get gear to drop. The third is waiting for your team to learn the next move. Some have 5 moves and some have 2. Lost interest quickly even though I love the franchise.

This game is GREAT for those who love traditional, old school jrpgs but don’t want to spend a dime. This is one of the most ftp friendly gachas I have ever played! Premium currency is abundantly available, drop rates for units are amazing, and logins and events are generous! I am enjoying it! I have every currently featured SS and haven’t spent a dime! There are things for whales to get, but ftp can get them too with enough grinding! It’s beautifully managed! Other gachas need to learn from this!

Really nice so far. Took me awhile to get into it at first, but the charm and gameplay, music etc is finally growing on me. I usually avoid free to play games on the premise that they are usually pay to win. But you did note in your description that this game isn’t that. So I gave it a go and I like what I’m seeing so far. Well done.

So far so good. The system with skill learning is just like the Romancing Saga games. Same with obtaining stats. The art for a lot of the units is very nice too. Edit: After learning more about this game, A and S ranks are necessary to get to have a good team and build. Getting an SS alone can only do so much. Units share stat gains with all their ranks, but they each have different abilities and skills. This makes it really interesting.

Super fun, intriguing characters, beutiful art. UI is kinda messy like all gacha games; Too many menus, I could go to the bottom of every filepath in win32 and it wouldnt be much different. Is that harsh? Probably if I rated it a 1 star. Claim all buttons make up for it a little bit though, and notification bubbles on the menus make it easier to navigate.

Been playing within a week now and I must say that it does say what it is said in its ad. This game is very rewarding and satisfies the user with not only free to play rewards but also no need for paying to win also, making it a bascially a FREE game. Sure some flaws are givin, like the drop rate of items in quest that are almost a 40% chance of a good item. Yet if your fan of Classic retro RPGs this game is a must play.

I’m having a lot of fun with the return of SaGa. This game can be tough at times, it’s refreshing to not have bundles and ads shoved in my face as I log in. Yes you can spend, but before you even feel the need to just try a little more or switch up your strategy. I’d recommend this to SaGa fans and to other Gacha players.
